SISTER EMMANUEL MAILLARD was born in France in 1947. She studied theology with Cardinal Daniélou after graduating in Literature and History of Art at the Sorbonne in Paris. In 1973, after an important experience with Jesus, she decided to consecrate her life to the Lord. In 1976 she joined the religious community of the Beatitudes to which she still belongs. Her books, translated into different languages, have quickly become best-sellers due to their ability to reach readers’ hearts as well as their CDs or the numerous testimonies transmitted by different media. Sister Emmanuel has lived in Medjugorje since 1989 and from there travels the whole world to evangelise and restore hope to a society that seeks joy where it is lost.
SAVERIO GAETA was born in Naples in 1958. He began his journalistic career in the Catholic weekly of Naples “Nuova Stagione”, and later worked as a reporter for the newspaper “Il Mattino”. In 1988 he moved to Rome to work at the “Osservatore Romano”. He was Vaticanist at the monthly magazine “Jesus” since 1991, he later became the head of department. From 1999 he became editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine “Famiglia Cristiana” and then editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine “Credere”. He graduated in Social Communication Sciences, he has published about sixty books, including essays, biographies, interview books and anthologies. He has also collaborated on various collective works.
FATHER ENRICO PORCU was born on 9 February 1955 in Cagliari and was ordained a priest on 12 April 1982. He worked as missionary in Brazil, in the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte, in the education of young people and with street children from 1986 to 1994. In 1994 he returned to Italy as head of theological studies in his home community. In 1999 he returned to Brazil in the Archdiocese of Sao Paulo, where in 2000, together with Father Antonello Cadeddu and the
missionary Maria Paola Olla, he founded the Community “Aliança de Misericordia”.
FATHER CARLO ROCCHETTA was a professor of sacramentary at the pontifical Gregorian university in Rome and at the theological faculty of Florence, currently a professor at the theological institute of Assisi and he is a founding member of the Italian Society for Theological Research (SIRT) and of the International Academy of Spirituality Matrimonial (INTAMS) which is based in Brussels, is director of the course of systematic theology of Bologna. He has published numerous writings and contributions to scientific journals. The last works, born from the activity as spiritual assistant to the family center ”House of TendernesS” in Perugia, which deals with the reception of couples in difficulty, the formation of married life and the study of the theology of marriage and the family.
